Ceramic Berry Bowl with Red and Orange Flowers

This berry bowl is wheel thrown and measures approximately 4" tall and 6" across. The saucer measures 1" tall and is 5.75" in diameter. The flower pattern is hand drawn in a Red, Orange and Green slip. Comfortably holds a pint of berries, a handful a herbs from the garden or even a can of beans!

All of my work is wheel thrown and functional. It is microwave and dishwasher safe. Even though it's dishwasher safe it's best to hand wash them as friction in the washer can damage them over time. They are made from a cone 6 stoneware and glazed using underglazes and a clear glaze. Because the patterns are all hand drawn, they are very labor intensive and can take any where from an hour and a half (for a cup) to twelve hours (for a serving bowl) to glaze depending on the size and the complexity of the pattern.
